I had the privilege of growing up on a miltary base and living in a variety of places as well as being involved in a number of scout troops throughout my younger years. I es-sentially "cut my teeth" in the Sierra Nevadas of California including places like Lake Tahoe, the Stanislaus National Forrest, the San Bernardino Mountains, as well as Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, New Mexico. Today, I am a worship leader in a local church and still have a love for the outdoors.

About me
Trail Tip of the Day

Get the most out of your adventure! If you are a novice, there maybe some things you haven't thought about before you head outdoors.

First Aid

You never expect to have any

mishaps on the trail, but you do want to be prepared for any situation that may arise. Know how to handle them before you head out.

Conservation

If you pack it in, pack it out. Leave no trace. Leave it as you found it. Be considerate in the outdoors. No impact! Be conservation minded. Be careful with fire. These are Just a few of my philosphies.
